Hi!

I’m Trond Carsten Øye and I love to paint! I live in Sauda on the west-coast of Norway and have been making drawings since I can remember. Oil painting has been in my life from around the millenium. Now I spend every day trying to better myself as a painter.

The last five years I have did a lot of studies for bigger pieces. I studied at "Nerdrum School" in 2016. That was an amazing ride, and I learned a lot during that time. 

My paintings reflect something timeless. I paint landscapes, seascapes, people, objects and narratives. Most of my work is oil on canvas and chalk-drawings of subjects in a realist style. In every painting. I am working to understand the nature, anathomy and how light and shadows works. My goal for every painting is to make the viewer feel calm and paintings with good quality.
